Meet the team and mission behind Lingotapas – why we do what we do
When we started Lingotapas, our goal was simple: to change the way people learn languages.
We wanted to move beyond the limits of traditional apps and textbooks by combining engaging online courses, coaching, tools, interactive exercises, and most importantly: a supportive community where learners can connect and grow together. Like sharing tapas with friends, language learning should be full of variety, flavor, and enjoyment—small, bite-sized moments that, when savored together, create something truly rich and lasting.
Our core founding team is based in Spain, the UK, and Canada. We come from a variety of backgrounds with extensive experiences over decades teaching languages, management, IT, marketing, and startups.
